  1. Go to the Search icon on your desktop homepage.
  2. Type Snipping tool
  3. Run the Snipping tool application





4. After running the application click on the try and snap icon





  • Choose a snipping mode: Once the Snipping Tool is open, you can choose one of the four snipping modes: Free-form Snip, Rectangular Snip, Window Snip, or Full-screen Snip. You can also set a delay time if you need to capture a screenshot of a pop-up menu or tooltip.
  • Select the area to capture: After choosing a snipping mode, use your mouse to select the area of the screen you want to capture. If you choose the Window Snip mode, select the window you want to capture.
  • Save or annotate the screenshot: Once the screenshot is captured, it will appear in the Snipping Tool window. You can save the screenshot by clicking on the "Save Snip" button, or you can annotate it by using the pen, highlighter, or eraser tools.
